Dr. Leslie Kanthan co-founded TurinTech with a clear mission: to apply his deep academic research and industry insights to some of the most impactful and critical challenges in AI, data science, and engineering. With a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from University College London (UCL), Leslie has been at the forefront of AI-driven innovation, focusing on harnessing machine learning to optimize software development processes. 

His academic background in big data, semi-supervised learning, and graph theory, along with his professional experience in quantitative research at Bank of America, Commerzbank, and Credit Suisse, positioned him uniquely to lead TurinTech’s ambitious vision.

Dr. Michail (Mike) Basios serves as the Chief Technology Officer driving the company's technological advancements and product innovation. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from University College London (UCL), specializing in machine learning, algorithm design, and optimization techniques. His rigorous academic background laid the foundation for his expertise in AI applications.

Before co-founding TurinTech, Mike was a Senior Research Associate at UCL, where he collaborated on pioneering AI research projects with both academic institutions and industry leaders. His work has been instrumental in developing methodologies that leverage genetic algorithms for enhanced machine learning performance. At TurinTech, Mike plays a critical role in shaping the technical strategy and overseeing the development of the company's flagship products.

Dr. Fan Wu is the Chief Scientific Officer at TurinTech AI, leading the company’s research and development initiatives in artificial intelligence and machine learning. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from University College London (UCL), where he conducted groundbreaking research in deep learning and optimisation algorithms.

Fan's expertise is pivotal in driving the innovation behind TurinTech's products, particularly the evoML platform, which employs advanced techniques to optimise machine learning code. His scientific contributions and thought leadership have positioned him as a respected figure in the AI community, with several published papers in top-tier journals.

At TurinTech, Fan is committed to bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application, ensuring that the company's technologies remain at the forefront of industry trends. He actively collaborates with academic institutions and industry partners to push the boundaries of AI research​.

With over three decades of experience in finance and technology leadership, Kee-Meng held senior roles at top financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, and Knight Capital. In these roles, he led large-scale initiatives in algorithmic trading, risk management, and operational optimization, consistently delivering strategic solutions that enhanced efficiency across global financial markets.

Kee-Meng holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Vassar College, providing him with a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. At BNP Paribas, he played a key role in optimizing trading systems, while at Knight Capital, he focused on aligning technology with business strategy to improve operational performance.

At TurinTech, Kee-Meng is responsible for scaling the company’s operations, ensuring seamless execution of strategic goals, and driving growth in an increasingly competitive tech landscape. His extensive experience in both finance and technology make him a vital part of TurinTech's leadership team, blending strategic insight with hands-on operational delivery.

Neil Charney is a seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record of driving innovation and business growth across some of the world’s most influential technology companies. As CMO at Docker, Neil led transformative marketing strategies that helped the company solidify its position as a leading platform in containerization and cloud-native development. At SAP, Neil served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, where he was instrumental in building the marketing framework for SAP's cloud solutions after the $8B acquisition of Concur, driving both revenue and industry leadership. Before that, Neil held several key executive roles at Microsoft, where he shaped global marketing and platform strategy for cornerstone products like Windows, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft’s developer tools. His leadership in platform strategy helped establish Microsoft’s dominance in the enterprise space and further reinforced its status as a tech leader. As a consultant, Neil has provided strategic guidance to multiple startups, helping them scale and position their products for long-term success in competitive markets.

Throughout his career, Neil has been recognized for his ability to create high-impact teams, drive category leadership, and deliver strategic vision for marketing organizations at scale.

Dr. Katerina Main is the Chief Legal and People Officer at TurinTech, where she plays a critical role in shaping the company’s legal framework and human resources strategies. Having qualified with Linklaters, Katerina has over 20 years’ experience in financial services. She has held senior leadership roles in a variety of legal, regulatory and operational positions, including Robinhood and Virtu. Her background ensures that TurinTech remains aligned with evolving regulatory standards while fostering a positive and results-driven workplace culture. Katerina holds a BA in Law from UCL and a PhD in Law and is a solicitor of England and Wales. Her expertise in financial services law and compliance ensures that TurinTech remains aligned with evolving regulatory standards while fostering a positive workplace culture.
